It is estimated there are two million orphans, 11.8% of the Ugandan population, spread throughout Uganda, mostly innocent victims of AIDS and political and economic instability. The Archdiocese of Tororo has its share of this tragic burden. We are in the process of upgrading our orphanage and developing a system of support for those orphans who cannot be accommodated at St. Kizito orphanage in Gangama, Mbale.
