MISSION COOPERATIVE PLAN (MCP)

Missionary Cooperative Plan (MCP) is a Mission Education Program that was set up by the Catholic Bishops of the USA and Canada to promote awareness about missions across the globe and to support them. This program invites missionaries from religiuos orders and mission dioceses worldwide to share the story of their mission activities such that the local Christian communities in North America get the opportunity to participate in a particular missionary work through spiritual and financial support.

As a mission diocese in a mission country, the Archdiocese of Tororo has benefitted a lot from this program. Each year, upon invitation, our Priest-Representatives from Tororo have continued to visit select parishes in the US and Canada to share our missionary story.

We are certainly grateful to the Catholic Bishops and Catholics of these countries for their continued support of the missionary work done in Tororo, Uganda.
