The Catholic Archdiocese of Tororo, Uganda, is one of the nineteen Catholic dioceses in the East African Republic of Uganda. The Archdiocese borders the northern shores of Lake Victoria, sharing the eastern border of the lake with Kenya.
The Archdiocese, which covers an approximate area of 8500 square miles (22014.9 square kilometers) in the mountainous area of Eastern Uganda, serves an estimated population of 3.6 Million people, about 1.2 Million of whom are Catholic.
The Diocese currently serves 45 Catholic Church Parishes with 984 Missions/Village Churches, as well as 1 hospital, 3 sub-hospitals, and 12 maternity/health care units; in addition to 1 orphanage and 2 homes for the disabled.
